Louis XIV Château

An amazing challenge from the promoter Cogémad: to build a new château in a style belonging to the reign of Louis XIV, respecting all the criteria of the XVII century whilst incorporating modern facilities and technology. We were commissioned for the crafting of 60 balconies, 108 metres  of balustrades and curved handrails and 5 large gates. The whole commission required 10,000 hours of work and 3,984 metres of wrought iron weighing 9,709 kilograms. In addition, 400 rivets were required for assembling these structures as well as 1600 decorative leaf elements in worked steel and 13,750 sheets of 24 carat gold leaf.
